T Block Oxford

Please try to arrive at around 2pm at T-Block and we'll round everyone up for a group photo at 2.30pm in front of the building. Inside is a small museum containing some historic Minis as well as modern MINIS, and there is a video room playing a loop of information which is pretty fascinating. Much, much more fascinating is the factory tour itself, which anyone who knows me will have heard me raving about at some time or other. It is a brilliant trip and I'll do it again without question, but unfortunately it won't be on the Sunday that we're there. The factory no longer works weekends and so the tour is unavailable for our visit. Please note there are no catering facilities at T Block, but for anyone who hasn't bought food with them, I can happily recommend the William Morris Wetherspoons pub just a mile or so up the road.

Although we can't join a tour on the day, a repeat visit to this superb tour is one of the items on the MMOC development agenda for next season and we'll be hoping to get a full bus-load of MMOC members who want to go. If that sounds like you, keep an eye on the clubs message board and social media profiles, plus of course the club magazine for the luddites amongst us!
